WAKE PUCHONG CLINIC & SUNDAY SCHOOL

Wake, run by Katherine, is an organization which provides counseling shelter and care for women and children with HIV.

At the moment, the shelter has 2 houses with 11 women and 15 children all in different stages of the virus.  The childrens' ages range from 2 weeks to 13 years.  Five of the children are still able to attend school on a full-time basis.

Sister Joan Phillips started this clinic and school in the early nineties.  The clinic was set up to give the poor and needy in the area access to medical care an tuition in English and math.  With the help of volunteer physicians and nurses, the clinic has been able to run successfully every Thursday form 3pm - 6pm, and the Sunday School from 3pm - 5.30pm.  Sister Phillips also visits the women's prison monthly to provide free pre and post natal care.
EDUCARE RUMAH KANAK KANAK IMPIAN

Educare, run by Kristeen, is a centre that offers free tuition in math, reading, writing and home science to the very poor, abused and neglected children from Port Klang. 

The centre also provides a meeting place for the elderly and assists some families with food.

Rumah Kanak Kanak Impian, run by Valerie Tan and Danny Ng, is home to 16-18 children who have been orphaned or come from very poor families. 

The home is set up so the children live there full time and only go home once a year, if they have family to go to.

HAPPINESS CENTRE MAGIC
Happiness Centre, run by Roy Collar, is a home for 35 children and adults who are mentally or physically challenged.  The home is set up in Malacca.

MAGIC is an educational centre for the intellectually challenged in Petaling Jaya. The centre has 20 students aged from 5yrs to 18yrs.
