Terms and Conditions of Membership
By becoming a member(s) of The Malaysian Australian New Zealand Association (MANZA) you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. I/We have read MANZA’s Constitution, which is available for reading at MANZA house. I/We agree to abide by the terms of the Constitution.
2. In consideration of MANZA accepting myself/ourselves as a member(s) of MANZA and permitting me/us to participate from time to time in any of MANZA’s events or activities in which I/we may enrol myself/ourselves, I/We hereby irrevocably and unconditionally release and discharge all members and the committee of MANZA and all MANZA’s affiliated clubs and societies from all claims of any injury and/or loss or damage, however caused, to myself/ourselves, my/our children and/or my/our personal belongings suffered at any time during the course of my/our participation in events organised under the auspices of MANZA or any of its clubs or societies. I/We also agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of attending MANZA events as stated by MANZA.
3. I/We understand and agree that, unless required by applicable law, MANZA gives no warranty in respect of and shall not be liable for any goods or services provided to me/us as a member(s) of MANZA.
4. I/We irrevocably authorise and consent to the use of any photograph, videotape, slide or likeness of myself/ourselves and/or my/our child(ren) for the publicity purposes of MANZA.
Terms and Conditions for Events
If you need to cancel your attendance at an event, MANZA needs two office days notice (MANZA office days are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 3:00pm). If you provide less notice than this, you will be charged the full cost of the ticket. If you can get someone else (who hasn’t booked through the office) to go in your place, that will be acceptable.
